Scarecrow's Garden

Scarecrow's Garden

http://scarecrowsgarden.blogspot.com/

Scarecrow's Garden is situated on the edge of the outback in South Australia where we endure extremely hot and dry summers only to be greeted with frosty mornings during our increasingly dry winter months. Despite this harsh climate we manage to grow much of our own food. Featuring worm farming, composting, water saving strategies, mulching, shading and wicking worm beds. No sprays used - soil building for plant health.

Mark's Veg Plot

Mark's Veg Plot

http://marksvegplot.blogspot.com/

This blog is dedicated to the concept of the kitchen garden: on my small domestic urban plot in southern England I grow food that is destined for the plate. I grow what we like to eat. There are no Food Miles to worry about; no harmful substances; just lots of enjoyment! As well as gardening, my blog covers matters of general "foodiness" - ingredients, recipes, utensils, etc. If you enjoy reading this blog, please tell your friends!
